Green Riding Hood is not just a fairy tale but an interactive application that teaches children about healthy living and friendship. The app features vibrant graphics, engaging animations, and a well-written story. Familiar characters are presented in a new light, for instance, The Wolf becomes a vegetarian and yoga enthusiast.
A unique aspect of this project is that Green Riding Hood was promoted without any direct marketing costs. This was achieved through Bobaka's strategic efforts to build relationships with the App Store editorial team. We successfully garnered attention from the App Store, resulting in prominent Featured placements in stores worldwide.
During the project, we experimented with different monetization strategies. Initially, the app was available for purchase only. Later, we introduced a freemium model, offering free downloads and paid content such as exercises, mini-games, and dance lessons.
Initially, we focused on Russian and English localizations but later expanded to include nearly two dozen additional languages and regions. Nikolay Drozdov, a famous zoologist and TV presenter, narrated the Russian version, while we hired professional actors or celebrities in other countries for their respective localizations.
