The Barkers online

A cartoon-loving community

In 2011, the animation studio Melnitsa launched a new animated series called The Barkers. To support the launch and engage the audience, the studio partnered with Aero to create a digital project that would reach key online segments.

We focused on developing a comprehensive website that went beyond simply promoting the cartoon series. The website offered a variety of content, including new episodes, mini-games, downloadable materials, and interactive rooms featuring the main characters. A multiplayer game called Football Tournament allowed users to create and customize their characters and compete with other Barkers fans from around the world. Moderators monitored the online community 24/7 to ensure a safe and positive environment for children.

Recognizing the importance of social media, I established Bobaka, a children's marketing agency, to manage the Barkers project. We created official accounts for the cartoon series on popular social networks, attracting a larger fanbase.

The Barkers’ universe continued to expand. After launching the website and online game, we developed a mobile app called The Barkers Playground to cater to the growing number of children using mobile devices.

The biggest achievement

Under the leadership of Bobaka, the project continues to thrive. We actively engage with the fan base through social media, maintain interest in the animated series, and create new content. The positive feedback we have received over the years is the most rewarding aspect of this project, as it demonstrates our success in creating a popular and enduring community.
